Pawparazzi Pet Sitting Policy Agreement
THIS AGREEMENT is made on day of login acceptance between Pawparazzi Pet Sitting (hereinafter “Pawparazzi Pet Sitting”) and Owner (hereinafter “Owner”).

FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the current fees published on the Pawparazzi Pet Sitting website and booking software at the time this agreement is executed; acknowledged and paid by Owner and herein incorporated as part of this agreement; Pawparazzi Pet Sitting agrees to provide loving care for the pets listed and booked in the account and owned by Owner.

POLICIES

AUTHORIZATION: Owner hereby authorizes and empowers Pawparazzi Pet Sitting to walk/exercise the pets in the designated locations and public areas, enter the home, feed the animals and clean up after pets.



CONTINUING OBLIGATIONS: It is understood and agreed between Owner and Pawparazzi Pet Sitting, that this agreement contemplates Owner will need Pawparazzi Pet Sitting services from time to time in the future, and is further understood and agreed that the obligations and covenants contained herein shall apply to each provision of products and/or services in the future, without the need of entering into another agreement, unless altered in writing and signed by the parties herein.

NON-SOLICITATION POLICY: Owner agrees that all services must be booked through Pawparazzi Pet Sitting's scheduling software, phone, text, and/or email. Certain Pet Sitters may contract with Pawparazzi Pet Sitting. These Pet Sitters have been contracted with an agreement that prohibits them from acquiring any Pawparazzi Pet Sitting's clients as their own as well as from doing any side work for Pawparazzi Pet Sitting's clients.

PAYMENT POLICY:
Overnight Stays: A minimum of 50% deposit is required to reserve the requested care dates.
Payment for Daily services (walking, drop-in visits) is to be paid in full online at the time of booking or by cash/check, before or on the first day that service begins. If payment is not received at the time of service and is not paid in full within seven (7) days, a $25 late fee may be added to the invoice. Pawparazzi Pet Sitting accepts Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, PayPal, cash and check. If services provided will be ongoing, a credit card authorization shall be executed and remain on file with Pawparazzi Pet Sitting to apply to regular billing periods. There will be a $35 charge for all returned checks. If Owner requests to extend service, the Owner guarantees payment at the same rate for all services provided upon return. Although not required, if Owner wishes to tip Pet Sitter, Owner may include a tip online when booking, write a separate check in the Pet Sitter's name or leave cash for Sitter.

SURCHARGE POLICY: A last minute surcharge of $30 will apply to same day service requests. An additional holiday charge of $30 will apply for each visit made on the following holidays: New Year's Day, President's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day & day after, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

CANCELLATION POLICY: For overnight stays: Services cancelled over 14 days before scheduled visit time will receive a full refund, less $100 admin. fee; Services cancelled over 7 days before scheduled visit time will receive 50% refund, less $100 admin. fee; Services cancelled within 7 days of scheduled visit time receive no refund. Early returns for non-holiday visits will be credited to future pet sitting visits only, and no refunds will be given. No credits will be given for early returns during holiday periods. If payment was made via online payment services, all refunds noted above will be reduced by the transaction fee amounts involved in processing original payment and refund.

EMERGENCY CARE POLICY: In event of pet illness or any other medical emergency and specified vet is unavailable, pet will be taken to closest vet or Veterinary Emergency Hospital. Owner understands and agrees that attempts will be made to contact them in case of emergency and if Owner or Emergency Contact person(s) are unreachable, Pet sitter has permissions to authorize any care that the vet deems necessary for the pet's health, safety and survival. Owner agrees to reimburse Pawparazzi Pet Sitting for any additional fees and all costs relating to vet care during their absence, which may include: an emergency medical transport fee of $35; x-rays; blood work; surgery; and/or other potentially costly procedures. Owner attests to the fact that all licenses and vaccinations required by the State of California, and County of residence are to be current according to law. Should pet sitter be bitten or otherwise exposed to any disease or ailment received from Owner's animal which has not been properly vaccinated, it will be the Owner's responsibility to pay all costs and damages incurred by the victim.

EXTRA FEES/CHARGES POLICY: Pawparazzi Pet Sitting reserves the right to invoice/bill at $15 per half hour or any portion thereof, for additional time spent over a 30-minute visit that is necessary for the care of the Owner's pet(s) and home. This includes service and time for the following, and is not limited to: all veterinary trips; pet illness; excessive clean-up resulting from pet incontinence; accidents or frequent vomiting; complications administering medications; obtaining pet food; medication or supplies; wait time for emergency home repair; search for pet(s) that escaped confinement or leash. Owner will be held responsible for all expenses incurred and reimburse Pawparazzi Pet Sitting upon return.

KEY POLICY: For ongoing services, two working copies of the Owner's house keys must be provided at the time of registration/consultation. This is the responsibility of the Owner. If two copies are not provided, Pawparazzi Pet Sitting reserves the right to make a copy of the key at Owner's expense. Pawparazzi Pet Sitting does not accept garage door openers as the only means of entry due to power outages. If Owner lives in a gated community, Owner must provide a gate card, remote or appropriate access codes. NO KEYS will be mailed by regular mail, or locked in homes on last visits. In any instance where new keys are needed (example: new home or lock change), it is Owner's responsibility to provide the keys. A $30 trip fee will be invoiced if a key is not left in our care and we must make an extra trip to pick up or drop off before or after care. Should keys become unusable; lock malfunction; Owner fails to leave a key or for any other reasons beyond Pet Sitter's control; Pawparazzi Pet Sitting and Pet Sitters have authorization to employ the service of a locksmith to gain entry to an Owner's home on Owner's behalf. Owner will be responsible for all expenses incurred and reimburse Pawparazzi Pet Sitting upon their return.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.) Due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, Owner expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Pawparazzi Pet Sitting and Pet Sitters for any unusual mishaps (i.e. refusal to take medication, escaping from the yard or home, biting, eating or destroying household items, damage to inside/outside of home, personal injury/accidental death). If Owner requests pet(s) to have outside access, Owner releases Pawparazzi Pet Sitting and Pet Sitters from all liability for loss, injury or death of pet(s). Owner is responsible for injury to or damage to Third Parties.

2.) Pawparazzi Pet Sitting and Pet Sitters are not liable and are completely indemnified for any and all liability stemming from the act(s) or failure to act of third parties, whether known or unknown, including but not limited to, friends, neighbors, relatives or other service persons, that shall enter your residence for any purpose while Pawparazzi Pet Sitting is caring for your pets.

3.) In the event of injury, illness, or other emergency circumstances of your Pet Sitter, where duties are unable to be performed, Owner authorizes Pawparazzi Pet Sitting to arrange for a back-up sitter to take over duties as outlined in this agreement.

4.) Pawparazzi Pet Sitting reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time before or during the term if Pet Sitter determines that the Owner's pet poses a danger to the health or safety of herself/himself or others. If concerns prohibit Pet Sitter from care for pet, Owner authorizes pet to be placed in a kennel with all charges to be charged to Owner.

5.) If injury to pet sitter occurs while in service of client, either by the pet(s) or other cause, client agrees to cover medical expenses as needed and work time lost. Sitter takes all precautions in accordance with client instructions about their home, property and pets' customary and habitual behavior.

6.) Although all reasonable efforts will be made to provide the agreed upon services, inclement weather (i.e. flooding, heavy storms), national emergencies, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond our control may delay or prevent Pet Sitter's visit(s). In such a case, Owner and/or the emergency contact person will be notified so that other arrangements can be made, if necessary.

7.) Visit times are approximate and subject to change based on the needs of all pets under the Pet Sitters care. Pet Sitter is entrusted to use best judgement in caring for pet(s) and home, in the event of an emergency, inclement weather, or natural disaster, Pawparazzi Pet Sitting and Pet Sitters will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions.

8.) Owner authorizes Pawparazzi Pet Sitting and Pet Sitters to take photos of the Owner's pet for owner report updates, their account, and for business website or marketing collateral. All photos taken are the property of Pawparazzi Pet Sitting.

9.) Pawparazzi Pet Sitting and Pet Sitters agree to provide the services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services, the Owner expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Pawparazzi Pet Sitting except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Pawparazzi Pet Sitting or Pet Sitters.
